Finishing Seasoning


 

Most people assume that making your own seasoning takes a lot of effort and would rather save time by buying store-bought products. But we’re here to show you just how quick and easy it is! This finishing seasoning is the perfect blend of smoky, salty and savory and will take your steak game to the next level.

 

 

Step 1: Mix Peppercorn

The first step in making this seasoning is to grind the black and green peppercorns together. Since these are very course, they should be mixed very thoroughly before adding the salt.

Step 2: Add Salts

After blending the pepper, add your salts and MSG.

 
 
 

Step 3: Mix Well

Finishing blending your spices together using a mortar and pestle. Store in an air-tight container.

Ingredients

Finishing Seasoning
  • 10g Green Peppercorn
  • 10g Black Peppercorn
  • 30g Bourbon-Smoked Salt
  • 30g Sea Salt
  • 10g MSG

Instructions

  1. Finely mix the black and green peppercorn together with a mortar and pestle.
  2. After blending, add the bourbon-smoked salt, sea salt and MSG.
  3. Mix well and season steak thoroughly.
