Pepper Steak
One of the main reasons we love our American Wagyu steak tips is because of how versatile they can be. This dish is a familiar favorite at any Chinese restaurant. Surprisingly enough, it is very easy to make at home! With just a few ingredients, you can whip this recipe up in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients
Pepper Steak
- 1 lb BHF steak tips
- 1 red bell pepper sliced thin
- 1/2 onion sliced thin
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp grated fresh garlic
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 oz cornstarch slurry (1 oz cornstarch, 1 oz water)
The Sauce
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 oz rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp MSG
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
Instructions
- For the sauce: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend
- In a large saute pan, add neutral oil and turn pan to high
- Add in the peppers and onions
- Once the peppers and onions become fragrant add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute
- Season the steak tips with salt and brown sugar
- Add steak tips to pan and cook for 2 minutes
- Add in the sauce and then the cornstarch slurry
- Cook until sauce thickens
- Serve with steamed rice
